Care
Thrives in full sun to partial shade in a sheltered position. Water regularly when young and during dry spells, but ensure good drainage as it dislikes waterlogged soil. Prune lightly after the first flush of red growth to encourage a second flush; trim the standard head to maintain shape. Mulch annually and feed with a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring.
