A beautifully sculpted lollipop standard formed from the ever-popular Thuja occidentalis, trained onto a clear stem to create a neat, rounded ball of lush, aromatic evergreen foliage. Its feathery, scale-like leaves carry a warm, resinous scent when brushed, and the dense globe holds its shape with minimal intervention. Perfect for flanking doorways, dressing up a patio, or adding year-round structure and symmetry to a formal or contemporary garden.
Care
Thrives in full sun to partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish; once settled, it is reasonably drought tolerant. Clip the ball once or twice a year in spring and late summer to maintain its shape. Hardy and unfussy, but protect the pot from prolonged hard frosts to prevent root freeze. Feed with a slow-release balanced fertiliser in spring.
